So this Tuesday (23 Oct) at 14:41 I get a phone call from Virgin Media. Usual security questions establishing I am who I say I am. Am I the person who sent the "data access request?" - You betcha. "And what are you looking for, specifically?" - Everything, especially the internet logs covering the time of the alleged infringement. "OK, we'll be sending you that on a password-protected CD". So we shall see what appears (and how long it takes)

So this is a blog set up to document my adventures in trying to assert my individual rights under the new GDPR legislation. It so happens that my network provider seems to have gifted me an opportunity to explore the new powers that are hypothetically at the reach of us ordinary consumers. So I thought I'd document the process, as I expect this may take some time and be fairly involved as this is pretty new to everyone. I will post the offending letter from my network provider shortly, once I have access to a scanner.
